Just Kids has served the community for over 44 years. Donna has over four decades of experience working with students with autism in public schools, private programs and home-based intervention. She is a Certified Early Start Denver Model trainer and a board-certified behavior analyst. Her early work as an occupational therapist provided a strong developmental base which is now complemented with the science of behavior analysis including trauma informed intervention and skills-based training. Donna’s guiding principles are to value each student and teach from a place of joy. Professionals who are lucky enough to work with children with autism need to listen, learn, guide, and coach from a place of care and compassion. Donna graduated from Boston University with an under graduate degree in occupational therapy. She completed her Master of Science degree at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons. Certification in the Early Start Denver Model was completed at UC Davis, California.
